The Secret Life of the American Teenager

Hey guys ! Sorry I haven't posted up here for about a month and a week now, it's been long. But I have news!

ABC Family recently started airing this new show, called "The Secret Life of the American Teenager". Obviously, from just glancing and the title of the show, it's a show for teenage girls. I'd like to say that it's kind of like a Lauren Myracle book put to life, on a television series. And, for those of you who don't know what kind of books Lauren Myracle writes, they're teenage girl books that involve a lot of boy conflicts, regular everyday teen girl problems, and so on. The Secret Life has brought it on air, for teen girls that need to be informed about daily problems, but haven't already read those kinds of books.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager is a television series about a young, 15 year old girl named Amy Jergins, who recently got pregnant in band camp because of her fellow band mate, drummer, sex-addict, Ricky Underwood. She struggles with problems on how and when to tell her parents, and so forth. Many of you already watch this show, as I know that already 76% of American girls, know, or have seen at least 2 episodes of The Secret Life; so I won't go on about the story.

So far, there have already been 9 episodes of this show, as it airs every Tuesday from 8:00 - 9:00 PM. The season finale is going to be 2 episodes from now, as they need time to finish putting together they're 13th episode - 21 episode, to be aired later on throughout the year. The scripts and acts still need to be finished. They've already finished episode 10, 11, and 12, and are planned to be aired the following Tuesdays: 9/2, 9/9, and 9/16 of 2008. Throughout this time, they're going to finish episodes 13-15 and throughout their break time while the show is not airing, finish up their second season.

I've watched every single episode of Season 1, so far. And have to say, this show is simply off to a great start! I give it 2 thumbs up, and 5 stars. There are great actors and actresses that can really put on a show. Especially Molly Ringwald! [Amy's mom]. I think it's a great idea that they started this show because it really informs teenagers around us, what reality really is, and I think that's great! Episode 9 last night really left us hanging, I keep wondering if Adriene has a sister, because she told Amy's dad that her dad had two daughters with her mom, and then left and started a new family. It's kinda scary, but hopefully they'll bring a new character into this show and make it more full of drama. I'm upset that Alice and Henry broke up, and I'd really like to know why, because I can't understand it. Alice just told Henry last week, on how much she loved him; and now she dumped him! There has to be some logical reason, which is coming up episode 10.

I love this show, I'm pretty much obsessed, hahahaha. But yeah, I'm gonna keep blogging stuff up about this show, to keep you guys updated about what's going on !

The Flat Earth.

So, we all know while Christopher Colombus was sailing, many people of the West Indies thought that he would never return back to land because they believed that the Earth was completley flat. That's not true, obviously, we know that now.

The idea of the "Flat Earth" came from Christianity. Christians in the West Indies believed that the Earth was flat; those were the people that thought Christopher Columbes would not trail back home on his ship. They thought he would 'fall off' of the earth and never return.

WRONG.

The earth is circular ! Horray.

Anyway, the smart stuff now. Regardless of whether the Earth is flat or not, the surface of the Earth can be approximated as flat over small distances. So, when you're in the car and looking at a plain field and see a flat surface, well duh, that's what you're going to see. It's a small distance of land and it appears to be flat because you're on a circular planet.


See, we all learned something today :D.

Snoop Dog, better then Punjabi's ?

So, I basically just got my own laptop today! Hahaha, so I'm pretty happy about that. My mom's birthday's this Friday, so I'm about to leave to get her a present. Today's my uncle's birthday though, and we celebrated it around 1AM yesterday, 'cause they were over and we were barbecuing. I don't really remember what happened yesterday considering I was having this major migraine, and my head was P O U N D I N G like there was some sort of hammer hammering away on the back of my head.
Yeah, it hurt.

So, I woke up this morning basically having some sort of hangover type of thing 'cause we were up until about 5AM. My parents never stop talking. They can go on and on about their stupid little gossips about other people. *Laughing out loud*.
Has anyone heard of that new movie that's coming out August 9th? Singh is Kinng? <-- Yeah, it's really spelt with two n's in the movie. I heard the title song, it's really good. I'm actually listening to it right now. They paid Snoop Dog to say, "Yo, whuddup? This is big Snoop Dog, representing 'Pooonjabi' Ay ya, hit 'em with 'dis, RDBDPG's Optia and Snoop Digo Double; Oh yeah, Singh is King the damn if you know what I mean only if you listen to me for a second, check it, Singh is the king, check it right here." And then the Punjabi part starts. It's so goooood(: but considering they paid Snoop Dog like, a million dollars, just to say those few lines, kind of bothers me.

It's like . . . it shows that we're kind of fake. Like, we need other people to make ourselves look good. Like, Snoop Dog? Who needs him? You don't need other people to make yourself look good because yourself look good. I don't know, that stuff just really bothers me.

Snoop Dog isn't better then us, Punjabi's, so what are they trying to prove?
I really don't understand it.

How The Hangover Started.

It's about 2AM right now while I'm writing this, and you're probably wondering what I'm doing up so late right now. Well, I'm stuffed, litterly, and can't fall asleep. Well, actually, I can, but I refuse to. My family is downstairs with me, chit chattering away as I listen and watch the ridiculous family gossip they talk about. It's like they think I'm not here. They're like cursing off other people of our family, and it's like, HELLO? DO YOU NOT SEE ME? A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL IS SITTING HERE, LISTENING TO ALL OF YOUR LITTLE GOSSIP AND YOU THINK SHE'S NOT GONNA TELL ANYONE?! Hahaha, it's confusing. But they know I won't tell anyone ;).

Anywho, they're gossip is pretty interesting. They like to talk about other people, and drama that's been recently going around in their lives. Yeah, a bunch of old 50 year old adult's lives don't seem so interesting, but age is but a number, who knew it could be so interesting?

I don't blame myself. It's not like I was eavesdropping . . . they were talking right in front of me! Not my fault, right? Right. Yeah, I thought so.

I'm gonna have a baby cousin soon! So, I'm pretty happy about that. Happy? No. Ecstatic. I really want a baby in the family because we haven't had one since I was a baby . . . which means I was the last baby; besides my little brother who's 10. So, yeah everyone's really happy :D. I'm probably going to have a few pictures of her up when she's born; which should be sometime around September 28th, 08.

7 Eleven !

It's now 11:40PM on the day 7/11/08 so just before it turned 7/12/08, I wanted to mention this glorious day right before it ends in about 20 minutes! Hahaha. Okay so, today, is the all-known, well and famous, convenient store, 7-Eleven's birthday! How awesome is that? I really like that. Anyway, on this day, 7-Eleven had a bunch of give aways today. They had a lot of sales on lottery. And free slurpee. Don't forget the slurpee.

There were many kids that came into the store with a bright, smiling face for those meaty, juicy hotdogs they wanted, that were HALF OFF! Lmao.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed thier 7/11 Day!

anywho, MY EAR HURTS LIKE REALLY BAD.
i've been going to the ENT for the past week, and it hasn't been working out for me so well. by the way, an ENT doctor is a Ear Nose Throat specialist. Not too bad of a doctor; but my ear still hurts! i'm visiting him today as well, and i think tomorrow too. oh and i'm gonna go see Hancock today :D. i heard it was reallllly good, so i'm excited.

Who I Am?

I'd like to say that, I know nobody will really look at my blogs. Take a glance? Maybe. But, I'm a very together type of person. I don't like to be bothered by people I don't know.
